Welcome to an Introduction to Music Theory!

This course is designed for students who will be entering careers in music, as well as students who seek to enrich their knowledge of music fundamentals. The purpose of this course is for students to develop skills that will lead to a thorough understanding of music theory and music composition/arranging.

This is the first course in a few courses here on Wikiversity. This particular course is for those students who have very little to no musical experience whatsoever, and simply want to start at the very basics. There are 15 lessons in this particular course along with periodic quizzes, exams, and materials to review.
