FARRA'GO. A particular kind of green crop, consisting of grain, barley, tares, and leguminous plants sown together broad-cast, and cut while green, as fodder for cattle, during the latter end of winter and commencement of spring; whence the term was metaphorically used to signify a confused jumble of things.
