EVERRIC'ULUM. The ordinary fishing-net (Varro, R. R. iii. 17. 7. Apul. Apol. p. 457. Non. s. v. p. 34.); which, as represented in the annexed wood-cut (Everriculum/1.1), from a fresco painting in the palace of Titus at Rome, appears to have been very similar to those used by the fishermen of our own days.
