DIRIBITO'RES. Officers who had charge of the balloting boxes at the Roman Comitia. It was their duty to sort the votes of the different tribes at the conclusion of the ballot, and then hand them over to the scrutineers (custodes), who pricked off the respective numbers, and declared the result.
