These are available in the Essex Records Office. In 1967 Marjorie Tompsett (later known as Dizzie Tompsett-Clark) used his diaries relating to the period 1868-1970 for her Cert. Ed. dissertation. This also covers other historical material relating to the Tabor family, for example material about Henry's father Samuel Tabor who attended Poplar House Academy, run by the progressive teacher John Stock (1764-1842).

Henry Tabor's daughter, Clara, became Clara Rackham, a notable suffragist and Labour Party activist in Cambridge.
