I am doing a 2d simulation of rolling process using ABAQUS/CAE. I have done the simulations with for rigid rolls for my geometry. Now I want to do with deformable rolls.I start with a deformable part option. The problem is that to give angular velocity to the rolls at their fixed positions, I am constraining the rolls with center of roll as reference point using rigid constraint option. But then this again makes the rolls rigid. Can anybody tell me how to model the deformable roll and give it an angular velocity with using rigid constraints? Thanks a lot.
