Lagrange's theorem

Let ${}G$ be a finite group, and let ${}H\subseteq G$ denote a subgroup of ${}G$.

Then the cardinality ${}{\#\left(H\right)}$ divides the cardinality ${}{\#\left(G\right)}$.
