Summary
DescriptionFrida Kahlo Statue in Frida Kahlo Park.jpg
English: This bronze statue places a life-size Frida Kahlo on a pedestal, actually a pyramid structure which appears to be modeled on the historic Mesoamerican city Teotihuacan, located close to Mexico City. She is clothed in her trademark Tehuana dress. The park, opened in 1984, is located in the Coyoacán neighborhood in Mexico City, a short walk from her “Blue House” (Casa Azul) which is now a museum (Museo Frida Kahlo). The statue is by sculptor Gabriel Ponzanelli.
