English: Prelude: Currently, it's New Year's Day here in my physics being-place Dalian, which meant people here have gone 'Across' 2018 New Year's Eve (Wikipedia Introduction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Year%27s_Eve), its celebration and many reviews of the past 2017. That's a fact that no one can change, which sometimes drew me into the sensitiveness of Era's fast development and Youth's momently shortness. Sorry... then, I found another fact - small Jason (me) had never been a significant person when facing this significant Era... I am only a little boy, or to say, a participant watching and experiencing many events' completion, and to give some prayers in the recordings and memories with Jason's fashion (I am the Jason. You knew, when you are someone, you cannot record something without taking his or her style, even the most severe persons).

However, after making some careful considerations, you would find: those weren't negative issues that you were small and you were participating in your own ways... Positively free self-wandering was still what I used to observe this city's funny experience 'Across the time 2017 - 2018' and 'Across many small spaces' in physics and subjective feelings. In brief, I don't want it so big, but from a small person's curious 'travelling eyes'.

Main description (Afterwards, please follow my descriptions and watch each picture of 2018 NYEC in Dalian series): Oh, it came to outdoor prayers & sport - Winter Swimming (Wikipedia introduction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_swimming) for New Year's Eve and Merry Christmas (Indeed, on Christmas Day, I had done it also, but my good pictures haven't been enough, until this one was found... ) To deal with this picture, I feared a little bit about its deletion which would be caused by half of your face wasn't covered. I told me self: Jason, you need to be brave, for... for the reason it was a good picture made by my family. Let me state some reasons why this picture shouldn't be deleted: 1. Silvery glasses have covered the most important part of my face - eyes and its area - around 1/3, which made people hard to recognize my face; 2. I was in a real public area to perform my Winter Swimming in my own way, and indeed, there were other people gathering there and swimming also; 3. Other important parts which can be recognized as mine have also been covered; 4. You can see me as a 'cultural signal' representing a certain cultural phenomenon or sport or activity that people gathering there and usually did in that season or till that season - winter. In that case, people's 'self-face' can be taken but ignored leaving the meanings of that event in the memory. There were some previous samples found in the article winter swimming (Wikipedia introduction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_swimming), in which you can see Russian girls and a man's and Polar Bear Club's faces weren't covered. They can all be called 'cultural signals'; 5. Thought I was the creator of language, my father was this picture's, we, from nature, cannot make me - a participate-observer without a face in that picture. Depending on reasons above, I thought this picture has the meanings of surviving. In the very brief, I just want it to say: In Dalian, there is also Winter Swimming, like in UK (The first time I knew...) , in Eastern Europe and Russia, Iceland, and other places... And this winter, a big boy and wiki-user has taken part in regularly about twice a week, especially on the morning of 31st December of 2017, for ' being there Across 2017 to 2018'.
