Problem Statement
editIs it possible to have no balloons left every single game?
Team Members
edit10/10 points ... good job 1sfoerster 18:07, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
Summary
editAfter playing poppit several number of times. We decided it is best to start from one side and work to the other side. For example, you can start from right top corner. We also found it useful to isolate single colored balloons until a match was found later on. We were successfully able to get no balloons left in two games using the strategies above. team weekly reports.
Poster
editThe pictures above are the games we were successfully able to complete. HCC 04:10, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Story
editTell a story of the project. Describe how tasks were split up, what the obstacles were, what testing was done, what informal decisions were made, what assumptions were made, what the results were. This is a longer version of the summary with links to all the details collected associated with the project. These links could be to software, links to videos, links to project pages with pictures, etc. Think of the story as a summary of the team weekly reports on one long page rather than a short paragraph like the summary.
After working on Chunk Poppit project, we found out that is possible to get zero balloon. Our team members played almost 200 times and we got only 3 times zero balloons. HCC 05:22, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Decision List
editAfter we played that game we agreed that starting from left or right side is best way to get succeed. HCC
Material List
editFiguring out what to purchase, what to build, what everything costs is a huge part of engineering. Typically there is a list of materials in stock, materials that are ordered, materials that should be ordered next time there is money, materials that have not been fully justified. These issues are part of healthy management of the engineering lab but are associated with a particular college. The detail needs to be published in this "Done" form. However in the project root, just a list of materials is necessary.
Software List
editInstalling and learning different software packages is part of most engineering project just like the materials list.
Time
editWe spend a lot of times playing Chunk Poppit. Therefore, we realized that in order to pop all balloons we should spend at least 5-10 minutes to get zero balloon. HCC 03:57, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Tutorials
editWhat we discovered is if you start poppit from left or right side, it is possible to get no balloon. however, it is impossible to finish balloon starting from middle In order to do that you should take care of the balloon, which has only colored balloon in column, so you can poppit later with same color balloon. Next Steps
editIf this is not filled out, the next team may have to repeat each of your steps just to figure out what the next step is. It is best to write this immediately at the end of the project while creating the summary, poster, presentation, and story.
