Connecting the coil to one battery

edit

To connect the coil to one battery, have the positive terminal in the bottom left corner when laying on its side. Take the coil and place it the table so it is standing upright and the extension wire is on the side closest to the positive terminal. Wedge the end of the extension wire in between where the terminal spirals in to where it is touching itself.

Connecting the coil to batteries in series

edit

Almost exactly the same as above but this time the extension wire has to move to the back now that the positive terminal being used in on the right side of the system as opposed to the left.

Hooking the 22 gauge magnetic wire coil to the four batteries gave the best test results thus far.
