Let ${}M\subseteq \operatorname {Hom} _{\mathbb {R} }{\left(\mathbb {R} ^{3},\mathbb {R} ^{2}\right)}$ be the set of all linear mappings that send this line to the axes of coordinates. Show that ${}M$ is not a linear subspace of the space of homomorphisms.
