First day.

Hello Professor.

I read the page closely, and it said the first thing I was to do was write a small description of my day - so I will.

It was fine. First day of a class I was fairly cautious about, but seemingly is gonna end up okay. Had lunch at the cafeteria. Was okay. I'm mostly trying to wrap my head around coursework, which isn't good for a smallbrain like me lol.

Next I'm gonna do the ChatGPT Assignment.

The contents was mostly trying to find a topic for my final presentation, along with trying to get it to insult me. I heard there were some workarounds and wanted to try them, but - almost immediately gave up. It is what it is.

Wikipedia Assignment

I'm gonna be honest, I know I had a whole conversation with my Professor about a wikipedia article to do, and we eventually decided on Quantum Computing....But I eventually decided against that mostly because I figure that topic is like....To me at least, super boring, and rescuing the wikipedia article would take a ton of research that would go in one ear and out the other, so- I eventually decided on the Playstation 3D Display to do an article about.

"Why? Das not the future!" you may be saying. Indeed, you're correct, but I feel like parallels can easily be drawn between the 3D fad of the mid 2010s and the current VR fad. History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.

Wikipedia Assignment 2 - Wikipedia Assignment Again

So, you'll never guess who forgot to add this entry and is hastily adding it 4 minutes before class starts.

Anyway! My new topic, is Spatial Audio. As far as I know it's a proprietary technology, used by Apple in their AirPod line of wireless headphones, to attempt to make the sound '3d' and fuller. Emulating a more proper sound system.

I got approval from the professor, so it should be good.

Bloody hell, I already did the 'Wikipedia Assignment Again' joke.

Fun fact, It was a reference to an old PC game called "Santa Claus 2, In Trouble Again" which was covered by a youtuber called Mikeyspiky200 as part of a Christmas games roundup.

He's super nostalgic, so, idk. Idk why I put that there, or why my brain spent like 5 minutes trying to remember the username, but....Uh, yeah.
