In a review of nearly sixty publications there were no adverse affects associated with water fluoridation except for dental fluorosis. ^[1].

^[1] The incidence of hip fractures was recorded from men and women aged 50 years and older, both 10 years prior and 10 years following the fluoridation of the public water supply.
