Origins and goal

edit

This page is set up by students of the Eindhoven University of Technology who have started working on problems in computational mechanics (either for fluids or solids). There exists already a plethora of information both online and at the university. However, because it was found that a lot of students are confronted with the same problems when they start working on computational mechanics for their master's degree, it was decided it would be useful to have a central, easily accessible and open repository with detailed information about the theory that these students typically encounter.

These pages will deal for the most part with finite element methods in computational mechanics.
