Goddess of beauty and desire. Causes gods/goddess and animals to mate. Even tricked her father Zeus to mate with a mortal. However, her father being omnipotent saw through her trickery gave her a taste of her own medicine. Zeus tricked her into having her fall in love with a mortal man named Anchise. She bore him an offspring, Aeneas.

  • compare her interactions with Adonis with myths of Isis and Inanna
  • tell the story of Aphrodite's birth and her romance with Anchises
