Category talk:Modular mathematics

Similar pages exist in German Wikiversity, e..g. de:Endomorphismus/Eigenräume sind Unterräume/Wann null/Fakt, but their categorization is structured differently. For instance, there is de:Kategorie:Materialien zur Mathematik/Fakten, which seems to correspond to Category:Mathematical fact, but there is no interwiki. And there is de:Kategorie:Algebra/Fakten, which seems to have no counterpart.

Dear Dan, I moved this here. You are right. The fine categorification along the mathematical subjects (which I do on the German wikiversity) should be included (some day) from wikidata. Hence I have not done anything in this directon here.Bocardodarapti (discusscontribs)

I restored the above in the category description, before I noticed you copied it to the talk page. I think it can stay in the description; it is not too much text to read in addition? --Dan Polansky (discusscontribs) 10:09, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
for me, it sounded more like a question, that was the reason I moved it here.Bocardodarapti (discusscontribs) 10:19, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
It was not a question; it was an analysis of the relation to German Wikiversity. Since, one might naively assume there is going to be a close correspondence, but there is not one, at least on the category level. --Dan Polansky (discusscontribs) 10:24, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Bocardodarapti: I added this to the description: "This is a project of User:Bocardodarapti, who is the author of all(?) these modules." Is it correct or is it merely the first impression? --Dan Polansky (discusscontribs) 10:50, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
some items were made by assistants or students, but must stuff I did.Bocardodarapti (discusscontribs) 13:00, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Modular mathematics" page.
