Artificial Consciousness (AC)

Artificial Consciousness is a relatively new term, that has become popular only recently, work has been done on this topic under a number of other topic names such as machine consciousness (MC) and synthetic consciousness

In 1992 Daniel C. Dennet published the book Consciousness Explained that was among other things an apology for even thinking of researching consciousness, as a result, many people who thought they were studying Artificial Intelligence (AI) realized they needed a new term for what they were working on. Artificial Consciousness is one of the terms they came up with.
