Art History/Reflections/Yeshwanth and Emma

Emma and I presented our powerpoint. I think all five of our works reinforced our theme, some more so than others. Ms. Davis gave us some suggestions for futher research on some of our works, which I found helpful. At this point, I think we'll keep the five for our museum and begin searching for the rest of our images, either in books or selected from our Artstor group.

After finding nearly 5 pages of images on ARTstor, today Yeshwanth and I narrowed down our selections to five images. I'm reall pleased with the selections we made and we both think that this will be an excellent project for both of us. We have made a wide selection which includes non-Western art, in addition to many different medias, including tapestry, sculpture, photography and paintings. We have begun working on our citations for the artwork and will begin working on our Powerpoint tomorrow.
