Andragogy

Andragogy refers to how adults learn, as distinct from pedagogy's focus on how to teach children, however use of the term andragogy has been criticised and debated (e.g., Ferro, 1997). An excellent discussion about these and related terms is provided by Holmes and Abington-Cooper (2000).
