Advanced ANOVA/Data/LEQ
< Advanced ANOVA | Data
The LEQ dataset provides a large (N > 3000), moderately complex dataset based on the Life Effectiveness Questionnaire for analysis of group differences (e.g., for the assessment exercise).
Independent variables
editPossible independent variables include:
- Gender (studsex)
- Age (ageyears)
- Any of the dependent variables listed below could be recategorised (e.g., into low-high) and used as IVs.
Dependent variables
editThere are two main types of dependent variables and/or within-subjects factors which can be used.
Factor
editThere are eight "life effectiveness" factor scores, plus an overall (average) life effectiveness score per participant. Each of these is each measured on up to four occasions (T0, T1, T2, T3).
Construct | Time 0 | Time 1 | Time 2 | Time 3 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Time Management | timeman0 | timeman1 | timeman2 | timeman3 |
Social Competence | soccomp0 | soccomp1 | soccomp2 | soccomp3 |
Achievement Motivation | achvmot0 | achvmot1 | achvmot2 | achvmot3 |
Intellectual Flexibility | intflex0 | intflex1 | intflex2 | intflex3 |
Emotional Control | emotcnt0 | emotcnt1 | emotnct2 | emotcnt3 |
Task Leadership | taskled0 | taskled1 | taskled2 | taskled3 |
Active Initiative | aiinti0 | aiiniti1 | aiiniti2 | aiiniti3 |
Self Confidence | selfcon0 | selfcon1 | selfcon2 | selfcon3 |
Overall | totfact0 | totfact1 | totfact2 | totfact3 |
Time
editThe Time administration periods were T0, T1, T2, and T3, with an outdoor education intervention program between T1 and T2:
- Time 0: Baseline, pre-program
- Time 1: First day of program (program start)
- Time 2: Last day of program (program end)
- Time 3: Followup (3 to 6 months after the program end)
