Isaiah 35 is a fantastic chapter of redemption for the people of God. It has such language as "God will come save you" and "Be strong, do not fear". Not only does it give encouragement for redemption and steadfastness, Isaiah prophetically speaks of what will become of this steadfastness. The last line in the ESV states, "Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away."
