Translations/Challenges edit

Challenges on the word translations of the original text. A lot of the time, the original words in the text do not fit in a song, they do not make sense to the public/congregation, or that are relevant today. Staying true to the intensity of the Word, but at the same time, being relevant to our world. For example, verse 7 says the word purge has a very strong meaning and is hard to sing openly, compared to the word cleanse. Transgressions Challenges on the content of the Psalm/how to make it relevant and the roadblocks that we came across. The verse has three different aspects to it: accepting/embracing our imperfectness, pleading for mercy and forgiveness, and aligning our will with His. Finding things to add in the song to make sense instead of jumping from thing to thing to topic to topic. Miscellaneous challenges that were encountered. Trying to add the message we want to convey inside of a rhythm that people can sing. The Psalm is written in an irregular meter.
