Spiritual Psychology/Lecture 3. For what purpose has God given us His New Revelation?

3.1 What stage of our evolution have we entered? edit

We have finished the previous lecture with the assertion that humanity is on the verge of another global transformation. And the knowledge of the truth determines the scenario of human race’s further evolution. We also raised a number of questions: What kind of salvation is the First of Paul to Timothy Epistle talking about (1 Tim 2:4)? What or whom can a man free himself from through the knowledge of the truth (Jn 8:32)? And what new abilities and skills are necessary for a man to achieve that? To answer these questions, we should first understand the historical period we are living in now.

As far back as 2009, God announced that the time of His patience, His longsuffering toward us was growing short (2 Pet 3:9). Another stage of human evolution - a stage of “preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom in all the world as a witness to all the nation” – has been almost completed by us (Mt 24:14).[1] This means the events of the “end of the age” have started on Earth (Mt 24:3). Moral degradation, an unprecedented escalation of conflicts and contradictions in the world, a great number of new threats and challenges - all of these are certain signs indicating the beginning of these events, as it is written: “And you will hear of wars, … but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Mt 24:6-8).

The evident stagnation and “abomination of desolation” indicate the need for our transition to a new historical epoch (Mt 24:15). The end result of this new evolutionary stage will be the deliverance of our planet from the power of Satan – the “ruler of this world” - and its return under the jurisdiction of God (Acts 26:18; Jn 14:30, 16:11). A new socio-economic formation on Earth - the New Jerusalem, the Kingdom of Heaven, and a new community - the united people of God, who will be guided by the Creator Himself, will be established on Earth (Rev 21:1-8). In this new world order, there will be neither borders, nor different languages, nor different religions. Being “one body and one spirit,” the participants of this formation will be impelled by one faith in one God and Father of all through one baptism in the name of one Lord:

“There is one body and one Spirit, … one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph 4:4-6)

3.2 What opportunities does the New Revelation open up? edit

Along with the announcement of the events of the “end of the age,” God revealed that these tragic events aren’t inevitable (Mt 24, Mk 13, Lk 21). The Creator has provided an alternative scenario in which humanity is given a chance to stop the events of the “end of the age” at any moment. This means that the human community can begin the formation of a new - spiritual - world order on the planet, having avoided the most horrific conflicts and disasters. God has offered the world community His New Revelation in order for it to be able to implement this alternative scenario.

Minimizing the extent of suffering and destruction is not the only advantage of the alternative scenario. In this case, each individual (the key word here is each) can “be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth” in order to take part in miraculous transformations on Earth and in the universe (1 Tim 2:4).

During the time of His forbearance, God created all the necessary and sufficient preconditions for the alternative scenario to be realized. They are listed in section 2.4.12 of the book The New Revelation. One of these prerequisites is preparing a sufficient number of people who are able to quickly master the new revelations in order to become teachers for others (Rev 6:9-11). God has completed this preparatory work. Our course is designed for such – advanced – believers.

3.3 Who is eligible to be a member of the new formation - the Kingdom of Heaven? edit

Among the significant number of mysteries revealed by the Creator, His revelation about the Kingdom of Heaven’s citizens is of exceptional importance in the light of the new epoch which humanity is going to enter. As the Bible shows, a candidate for the right to be a part of the new formation must satisfy two main requirements.

First, he must defeat Satan:

“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (Rev 21:7)

Jesus has confirmed that it’s the man’s ability to “cast out demons” by the Spirit of God that is the sign of reaching the Kingdom of God (Mt 12:28). In support of this assertion, He repeated 8 times in the revelation given to John the Apostle: only the one “who overcomes” can be the heir of the Kingdom of Heaven (Rev 2:7,11,17,29; 3:5,12,21; 21:7). Whom need a man overcome? Satan - the source of any sin. When everyone on the planet gains the victory over Satan, the Kingdom of Heaven will be firmly established here.

The second requirement for a candidate to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven is his skill to live according to the will of God:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Mt 7:21)

What does it mean - to do the will of God? This means making any decision in cooperation with the Creator. God gives His plan to every soul before its incarnation: “the way of man is not in himself” (Jer 10:23); “…I know the thoughts that I think toward you” (Jer 29:11). When a person executes this plan in all its aspects, God’s will is being fulfilled. This is best exemplified by Jesus Himself: “I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father Who sent Me” (Jn 5:30), “I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me” (Jn 6:38).

So, on the one hand, the Bible shows: the one who “overcomes” and “does the will” of God is allowed to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, Jesus emphasizes that only prophets will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven: “…you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out” (Lk 13:28). Having compared these two postulates, we can conclude: it’s the prophets who is able to both “overcome” and “do the will” of God. That is why every believer must reach the highest spiritual level - the level of the prophet, if he wants to be a member of the new formation.

In addition, we have the predictions of the early Church’s holy ascetics to prove that the faithful of the last days will focus on these two objectives – they will endeavor to become those who “overcome” and “do the will” of God.

First, Saint Cyril, Bishop of Jerusalem, predicted that the former martyrs struggled only with people whereas the martyrs of the Antichrist’s time will fight with Satan himself.[2] This prophecy confirms the first goal of the faithful - they have to fight against Satan and win this war, that is, to become the one who “overcomes.”

Second, Saint Niphon, Bishop of Constantia on Cyprus, prophesied: “…in the last times, those who truly will serve God … will not perform … signs and wonders as at the present time, but they will travel by a path of activity intermixed with humility, and in the Kingdom of Heaven they will be greater than the Fathers who have been glorified by signs.”[3] This prophecy supports the second goal of the faithful we have indicated – they have to learn humility. What is humility? Humility is obedience to God, that is, doing what He says, what is consistent with His will. To learn humility is not an easy task, even for the Son of God: “though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered” (Heb 5:8). Therefore, God has recommended us to describe this work as a fight for humility rather than as “a path of activity intermixed with humility.”

3.4 What makes the prophets able to meet the requirements of the Kingdom of Heaven edit

First, God gives the spiritual power and authority over all demons to the prophets, just as Jesus did to His first disciples: “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons” (Lk 9:1; Mt 10:1; Mk 3:15). This spiritual power and authority over unclean spirits is a necessary attribute of those who “overcome.” Thanks to this power and authority the prophets aren’t subjected to any influence of Satan – he has got no power over them.

Second, God’s prophets are given the Holy Spirit “not by measure” and along with Him “the greater gifts,” including the ability to see and hear God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and to observe the events in the spiritual world (Jn 3:34; 1 Cor 12:31). By using these gifts, prophets can inquire for a God’s opinion on every aspect of their lives and perform His will at the level of His thoughts and ways. And as repeated many times, God’s thoughts and ways are higher that man’s thoughts and ways, “as the heavens are higher than the earth” (Is 55:8-9).

Thus, God’s prophets have the exclusive right to be given the spiritual power and authority, the Holy Spirit “not by measure,” and “the greater gifts.” These privileges make them able to satisfy the requirements that God has set for the heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven - to be conquerors and doers of the will of God.

It is noteworthy that this question - the question of the prophet’s exclusive right to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven – hasn’t been covered either by philosophical thought or by the Church or by religious science. Referring to the Bible’s verse: “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved,” the majority of Christians are convinced that the right to be heirs of the Kingdom already belongs to them (Acts 2:21). However, this is not quite true.

According to God’s estimate now that the stage of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom in all the world is coming to its end, most of Christians have reached only the spiritual level of children (1 Jn 2:12). As John the Apostle explains, the childish spiritual level ensures that believer’s sins are forgiven for Jesus’ sake. Satan can be defeated when a Christian reaches the spiritual level of youth (1 Jn 2:13-14). And only on reaching the mature spiritual level, a believer can know Him Who is from the beginning (1 Jn 2:13-14). Strife and divisions among the Christian Churches and denominations and even within some Churches confirms that they haven’t become spiritual, and many are still “babes in Christ”: “For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” (1 Cor 3:1-3).

Given the above, all of the Christian Churches first have to advance to the next - prophetical – spiritual level through mastering the laws of spirituality revealed by God. What are the benefits of the use of spiritual laws?

  1. Being granted the opportunity to ascertain the view of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit on all the existing disputes and differences, the Churches will be able to settle them and unite.
  2. Being given the spiritual power and authority, the United Church of Christ will be able to free all the other nations from the power of Satan.
  3. Having access to the God’s “thoughts” and “ways”, the Church will be able to demonstrate an attractive way of living to all nations – to show them not only high moral standards, but also intellectual, technological and economic breakthroughs.

Such preaching enriched with spiritual power and authority and these intellectual achievements, aims to help all the other nations to believe in Christ, thus bringing us closer to “the unity of the faith” (Eph 4:13).

If the Church doesn’t begin to carry out this will of God, her insufficient spiritual level will be the cause of further intensification of the “abomination of desolation.” Many of the holy ascetics, such as Saint Nilus the Myrrh-streaming, predicted this: “…people’s minds will grow cloudy from carnal passions, and dishonor and lawlessness will grow stronger … These people will be cruel and will be like wild animals because of the temptations of the Antichrist. There will be no respect for parents and elders, love will disappear, and Christian pastors, Bishops and priests, will become vain men, completely failing to distinguish the right-hand way from the left. At that time, the morals and traditions of Christians and of the Church will change. People will abandon modesty and chastity, while fornication and dissipation will reign. Falsehood and greed will attain great proportions… Lust, adultery, homosexuality, secret deeds, theft, and murder will rule in society.”[4] Another, “a very ancient prophecy,” indicates that there will be very few of those who will understand the truth: “The time will come when people will be foolish; they will say to those who are wise: you are mad because you are not like us.”[5]

3.5 Arguments in support of the possibility of an alternative to the scenario described in the Bible edit

Our opponents may argue that the events described in the Bible cannot be changed. What arguments can be made in support of our position?

Argument 1. On the one hand, the Bible says: God desires “all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim 2:4) . On the other hand, God asserts that He always achieves His goals: “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure” (Is 46:10). It follows that if God wants everyone to be saved, then He must have a way to achieve this goal. In today’s world, Christians make up only about one-third of the population; meanwhile, most of them have reached only the children’s spiritual level. How does such a large number of people whose “part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone” harmonize with God - “Almighty,” “gracious,” and “merciful” (Rev 20:12-15; 21:7-8; Gen 17:1; Ex 6:3; Jon 4:2; Ps 143:10; 1 Pet 2:3)?

Argument 2. Why is it that not every man can accept the grace of God for his salvation? What prevents him from believing in Jesus Christ and repenting? Attempts of religious science to explain this by “free will” or some “moral freedom” given to a human being by God, also aren’t consistent with God - not only “gracious,” but also “perfect” (Mt 5:48). God Who is perfect has created man in His own image and likeness (Gen 1:26). Well, hasn’t He created a man so imperfect that he cannot even take God’s grace for his salvation? In fact, the idea of free will is not true (see sections 2.3.20 - 2.3.21 of the book The New Revelation). Jesus has said concerning those who crucified Him: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Lk 23:34). The reason why people blasphemed God more and more instead of repenting and giving Him glory is the same – “lack of knowledge” (Rev 16:9, 11, 21; Hos 4:6). God began to fill in this lack by means of His New Revelation, when the time had come to do so, and He is continuing to enhance our knowledge in spirituality.

Argument 3. Jesus Himself claimed that He hadn’t revealed all of His secret knowledge to His disciples because they were not quite ready: “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (Jn 16:12).

Argument 4. As mentioned in Lecture 1, modern prophets can check whether it is true what we teach: “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority” (Jn 7:17).

Argument 5. Jesus could reveal what His first disciples weren’t be able to bear, to other God’s prophet, to other holy ascetics. There were quite a lot of them during the 2,000 years after His ascension to the Father. Two of these prophecies have already been mentioned in section 3.3 – of Saint Cyril of Jerusalem and Saint Niphon of Constantia. Note, both lived as early as the 4th century A.D., when there remained the true knowledge about the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus revealed to His first disciples. These two holy ascetics specify the spiritual work of the saints in the last times, and their description coincides with what God has revealed to Evgeny Molchanov.

Another piece of evidence in support of our claims has been found among the monks of the Optina Pustyn. They answered the Mother Nectaria’s question about the “end of the world”: “We don’t have to foresee any future events – all things will be revealed to the faithful in due time.”[6] What does her further conversation with Hieroschemamonk Nektarius, the last of the famous elders of Optina, who had the greatest gifts of miracles and insight,[7] display? We can see from this conversation that it was known to the Optina Pystyn’s ascetics that even John the Apostle would come again at the time of the “end of the world”. Elder Nectarius said concerning this prophecy: “All this will be, but it is a great mystery.”[8] Thus, the Optina ascetics had the information that not only the new “great mysteries” would be revealed to “the faithful”, but also that John the Apostle would come again. Would he come with the New Revelation? God told us – Yes. If you can verify these prophecies, please do this.

However, the largest body of evidence has been given by the American prophet Edgar Cayce. We are going to apply to his so-called Readings time and again in our lectures because they contain a lot of information that is of great interest for this course.

3.6 What has Edgar Cayce said about “the hope of the world” which will come from Russia? edit

So, let’s turn to the predictions of Edgar Cayce about Russia.

First, the prophet has predicted: “... out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.” [9]

Second, Cayce has said the following about the hope that will come out of Russia: “…freedom! … each man will live for his fellow man! The principle has been born. It will take years for it to be crystallized.”[10]

Since the time when this prophecy became known to the public, many different theories of the world’s transformation and methods of spiritual perfection were proposed. However, our reality shows that none of them has provided the results predicted by Cayce - neither brought freedom to a person nor taught him to live for his fellow man. Both of these can be achieved only by the prophets who understand how the laws of spirituality work and can use them. While a man is controlled by Satan, he neither has freedom, nor can follow the main law of the Kingdom of Heaven: Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor (Mt 22:37-39; Mk 12:30-31; Lk 10:27). Indeed, many years passed before the new knowledge that gives us the hope for a new world order “crystallized” in Russia.

Third, Edgar Cayce predicted that “the greater hope of the world” which would come from Russia would be the result of its “religious development.”[11] The prophet specified: “this may be sure – an evolution, or revolution in the ideas of religious thought. The basis of it for the world will eventually come out of Russia; not Communism, no! But rather that which is the basis of the same, as the Christ taught – His kind of communism!”[12]

The laws of spirituality that were formulated by Molchanov and revealed the secret knowledge hidden in the parables of the Bible really marked “an evolution or revolution in ideas of religious thought.” And the use of these laws ensures a real potential to form the most advanced socio-economic formation on Earth – Jesus’ kind of communism, a welfare society, governed by God. The key factors of such a transformation of the world - according to Jesus Christ – are expounded below, in section 3.7.

Fourth, many sources say that Cayce not only predicted that the hope of the world would come from Russia, but also determined the exact place - Western Siberia. He saw Western Siberia as the center of a resurgent civilization.[13][14] We could not find a direct reference to the primary source – to Cayce’s Readings. We will be grateful if someone can help us to find either this reference or the author of this prediction. After all, here, in Western Siberia, in the town of Noyabrsk, Evgeny Molchanov developed his epoch-making spiritual theory and tested the laws of spirituality along with his disciples.

Fifth, although the advanced discoveries for the world’s salvation and transfiguration have been made in Russia, the Creator has communicated to us that the United States should play a key role in mastering and spreading these spiritual discoveries all over the world. It turned out that Edgar Cayce predicted this fact too: “he saw… an alliance between the United States and Russia that would help to transform the world.”[15] Moreover, Cayce noted that Russia would be guided by “friendship with the nation that hath even set on its present monetary unit “In God We Trust”.”[16] We got acquainted with this Cayce’s prophecy in November 2015. Long before that time, God begun to task us with informing the American presidents, public and religious figures, scientific and business community about His plans, which we had been doing since 2007.

3.7 Decisive factors for the world’s transfiguration according to God’s design edit

Opening up new opportunities to turn people “from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God” through the knowledge of the truth (Acts 26:18; Jn 8:32), the new God’s revelations provide a basis for completing the work of Jesus Christ, exactly as predicted by Edouard Schure:

The transformation of Christianity, in its esoteric sense would bring with it that of Judaism and Islam, as well as a regeneration of Brahmanism and Buddhism in the same fashion, it would accordingly furnish a religious basis for the reconciliation of Asia and Europe. This is the spiritual temple to be constructed, the crowning of the word intuitively conceived and desired by Jesus. His message of Love can form the magnetic chain of Science and Art, of religions and peoples, and thus become the universal word[17]

God has marked the following factors as decisive for the world’s transfiguration in the way described above:

1. Unification of all Christian Churches and denominations as a result of attaining a new - prophetical - level of spirituality

According to God, the Catholic Church should lead this mission. Thus, God has confirmed the Prophecy of the Popes[18][19] in the sense that there came time to put an “end” to the disunity of the Church of Christ. Having reached the prophetical level, the Christian Churches will be given an opportunity to consult directly with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit on any aspects of their activities. This is the only way to resolve all their differences and achieve the goal set by the World Council of Churches - to achieve “the visible unity of the Church.”[20]

2. Cooperation between Russia and the United States

This factor is central. The new spiritual discoveries will ensure the greatest efficiency if the two countries – the Russian Federation and the United States – combine their efforts. As mentioned above, the United States should play a key role in disseminating the new spiritual knowledge around the world.

3. Transformation of Judaism, Islam and other religions

It is the duty of Christianity - to protect the followers of Islam, Judaism and other religions from Satan and his army with the help of the Holy Spirit and spiritual power and authority given it by Jesus. Then, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, non-Christians will be able to perceive the vital role of Jesus Christ for all mankind. They will be able to recognize that it’s Jesus Christ who, through His sacrifice on the Cross, returned to God a vital right that humanity lost after the Fall. He returned to His Father a right to give people the Holy Spirit, Who protects them and transforms them into the Creator’s image and likeness.

In full accordance with the prophecy given by God through Bobby Jean Merck, Christianity will be able to achieve this after its transfiguration: “God says, “I have got a lot of people in the seed of Ishmael, whom I chose for My glory. I want you to go there and bring them to My Kingdom … You will see that the east and the west will meet, the north and the south will meet, and Jesus will be the Center of it all … And there will be the same consolidation of a Jew and a Gentile as in the Book of Acts of the Apostles in order to accomplish the work of the Church on this earth.”[21] But in order for this to occur, Christianity should restore the spiritual practice of ancient Hebrews - the only people in human history who had got the experience of living under the direct guidance of God through His prophets. And this is the crucial importance of Israel for the whole world.

4. The victory of Christianity in China.

As Edgar Cayce predicted, China would awake one day: “This, here, will be one day the cradle of Christianity.”[22] After the revival of China, the victory of Christianity all over the world will become irreversible. Thus, it’s China that will provide the sufficient conditions for the complete victory of Christianity in the second - prophetic - stage. That is the special part of this country in God’s plan.

Humanity has already endured the centuries-old bitter experience of powerful empires collapsing because of their disobedience to God. The last event – the collapse of the Soviet Union because of its rebellion against God - happened before our very eyes. The main lesson that every country in the world should draw from this experience is to learn obedience (Heb 5:8). Every nation should start to perform its part in God’s plan for the world’s transfiguration in cooperation with Russia that, according to Cayce, contributed greatly to “an evolution, or revolution in the ideas of religious thought.” For it’s this factor - doing the will of God and serving Him “in spirit and truth” – that ensures personal salvation of every individual and “a good foundation” for the future of the whole human community (Jn 4:23; 1 Tim 6:19).

Thus, the events of the “end of the age” which started on Earth indicate the completion of the stage of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout the whole world. Humanity must advance to a new stage of its evolution - the stage of prophetical Christianity. The purpose of this stage is to complete Jesus’ life-work – “to open people’s eyes in order to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God” and to create the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, so that the will of God, that is, His incredible plans can be realized here (Acts 26: 18). This process has been already developing, regardless of whether we like it or not. “I will do all My pleasure”, says the Creator (Is 46:10). The question is which scenario - pessimistic or optimistic – will prevail. How intense will the suffering and destruction be and how many “conquerors” and “doers of the will” of God will participate in the new world order?

God has given us all the necessary and sufficient tools for minimizing the extent of destruction and suffering and for saving each one of us. How will we use this opportunity? It depends not only on God but also on our efforts. To implement the optimistic scenario, all people prepared by God have to initiate work on “equipping the saints,” that is, on training prophets by using the new knowledge and to ensure that this process has become widespread and irreversible (Eph 4:12).
