About 4000 people gathered in Minneapolis to protest the election of Donald Trump. Protesters denounced bigotry, racism, sexism, Islamophobia and Trump's proposed policies on immigration. They called for building a movement to oppose President-elect Donald Trump.
On November 8, Donald Trump won a sufficient number of electors in the United States Electoral College (306 out of 538) to become President, but Hillary Clinton received more votes overall. Donald Trump won 59,704,886 votes and Hillary Clinton won 59,938,290 votes - approximately 233,000 more votes than Trump (numbers from Google at 11:40am November 10).
