English: This presentational photography portfolio was made in a series of peony (Paeonia suffruticosa) for educational purposes. Its composed materials were all randomly collected from the Hekou Bay's square-ground of my hometown Dalian area (Wikipedia Introduction:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalian). Regarding with its relative background knowledge, please refer to the term 'peony' (Wikipedia Introduction:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peony). In terms of this presentation's title 'Peony (Paeonia Suffruticosa)-Chinese National Colour', I would like to analysis: it isn't to say all people including government thought peony as the only flower standing for 'Chinese riches and honour'; but from one branch of commons' culture and trandition, its big face naturally gives people this impression. Meanwhile, ' Chinese national colour' wasn't quite to describe mere ' this colour of this photography portfolio theme' (Indeed, the main colour usually being cultural highlighted was pink and orange red... and blood-pure red was a little bit unhappy...rose red was a little bit sub-classed...); but to describe a main impressionism of peony's growing situaion given to people's minds.
After a thinking rountine, I thought in that sunny day, I needed to keep this colour and its flower's folk language in my educational portal for praying out a happy life (though these days I was...). The aesthetic of flowers' beauties blooming in a betterly ecological environment has no wrong thing but a fantistical dream for future. Thinking: they were growing and cultivated there, but if no one to appreciate their beauties and no one know their sunny smiles... what a pity!
Peony spirit on square-ground, thanks to your shares and sunny smiles!
Total photography portfolio presented in Peony series.
