English: This sound file was a different musical edition of Michel Petrucciani's “Miles Davis Licks” (As usual, there should be a Wikipedia introduction to let me and you understand him, his disease, his brave life and this theme more... However, Wikipedia wasn't at home), made by me -
Jason M. C., Han (
talk) 14:34, 5 May 2019 (UTC). In this edition, Classroom Style - such as the exercises of rolling tenths (with major sevenths in) and dominant sevenths, as the accompaniments and self-made 'playalong' - have been applied. Meanwhile, the main melody of funk has been kept. Finally, I gave a small improving coda, but not too long... I thought: in the future, I would give a following free improvisation, as its development if time was enough.
This edition was mainly made for my submission of task in the course of Goldsmith, University of London on Future Learn platform this year - 2019. I thought: for other piano classroom usage, or piano education usage (mainly in non-profit), it's all okay. Hopefully, more ideas will be enriched, and it will be much more beautiful. Thanks for your listening!
