Deutsch: Serienaufnahme des Merkurdurchgangs während der Überquerung einer Sonnenfleckengruppe. Aufgenommen in Sizilien in 1700 Meter Höhe auf dem Vulkan Ätna in der Beobachtungsstation der Catania-Sternwarte. Analogfotografie mit einem 3-Zoll Sucher des 36-Zoll Spiegelteleskopes. Merkur und Sonnenfleck befanden sich um 11:08 UT in größter Annäherung.
