Portal:Mechanics of materials
|
Though Mechanics of Materials includes the deformation and motion of all materials, this topic is usually interpreted to mean introductory solid mechanics. All material behavior can be included in this subdivision with appropriate links to special material behavior.
- July 21, 2007 - Subdivision founded!
The histories of Wikiversity pages indicate who the active participants are. If you are an active participant in this subdivision, you can list your name here (this can help small subdivisions grow and the participants communicate better; for large subdivisions a list of active participants is not needed).

Professor in a Strength of Material class to a student : OK, Now that you are standing, tell me which members of your body are in tension and which members are in compression ? Student: I dont know about compression prof, but surely my brain is experiencing extreme tension.
