I do not know what you mean with "recovered" in the question "When an ethernet collision is recovered". Do you mean "discovered"? "Recovered" for me means that the problem has been entirely solved - then there is nothing to do anymore.

according to the video and to other graphics on the web we speak of the collision recovery subalgorithm which is the right part of the graphic where we wait for some random time before re initializing a transmission.
